Our Music Director

Owen E. Seward, Jr.

Mr. Seward is a confessed "Sousa-phile" and has made a lifetime study of Sousa. The 2000-2001 season was the 10th year that Mr. Seward has portrayed the famous bandmaster at an annual Sousa concert and each year he tries to introduce new pieces and little heard "pearls" from the Sousa library.

Mr. Seward is the Music Director for both the NEW Gardens Band and the Indian River POPS! Orchestra.
